Do you want to:
- Behave or perform like someone you admire in your life?
- Excel in your professional and personal life?
- Overcome a fear or phobia?
- Improve your health?
- Manage stress?
- Deliver presentations confidently?
- Change your habits?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) helps you to model examples of excellence from either your own personal experience or from your role models.
It is very effective when used to overcome a specific problem such as a fear of flying or sitting an exam, or overcoming negative behaviours such as stress, overeating or a strong negative self belief that a challenge cannot be achieved. NLP techniques are used throughout the world, in all sorts of different situations, from business to sport.
How does it work?
Rachel worked with me to isolate and turn down the volume on the negative thoughts that were affecting my performance, and replace those with feelings of confidence and self-belief.
Rosie, 2009
For all NLP work I am located in York and work with clients face to face.

Following an initial discussion over the telephone, our first session will be up to 45 minutes long. During this time, we will discuss what you want to improve and then begin to make those improvements in the very first session.

More about Neuro-Linguistic Programming
What does it mean?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the art and science of personal excellence
J O’Connor & J Seymour
- Neuro - how we see, hear, smell, taste, touch and feel through our lives
- Linguistic – the language we use both, internally to ourselves and externally to others
- Programming – how we organise our thoughts and actions
Brief history
NLP started in California in 1972 by John Grinder and Richard Bandler, who studied three leading therapists and identified similar models of excellence in all three. Grinder and Bandler took these and created the NLP model.
Nowadays the use of NLP is growing both in business and for personal use.
